浅谈新课改下的高中英语教学
高一英语组马卫东
在社会生活信息化和经济全球化的今天,英语的重要性日益突出。新课改正是在这一背景下诞生的。新课改在价值取向做出了重大的调整,即从精英教育走向大众教育,从学科知识本位走向学生发展本位,提倡学生的探究和自主创新学习,所以,我们一线教育工作者需要改变我们的旧观念以及传统的教学方法,才能适应新课改下人才培养的需要。下面我结合自己新课改下几年的教学体会,谈一谈自己在新课改理念下对高中英语教学所做的调整。
(一)强调英语基础知识
所谓英语的基础知识指的是英语的词汇和基本的语言知识。没有这些基础知识,语言学习便无从谈起。因此,在新课程标准下,词汇和基本语言知识仍不能被忽视。但是在新课改下我们要改变传统的词汇和语言知识的传授和记忆方法。我的具体做法是采用场景式教学,设计与学生密切相关的情境,让学生在有意义的语言环境中学习英语,并配合定期的检测,有效地巩固所学知识。
(二)注重学生听说读写综合能力的提高
新课程标准的一大特点是提高了对学生听说读写综合能力的要求。在教学中,锻炼学生的听说能力时我采用场景式任务教学,预先设置好场景,使学生可以预知即将发生的事情。在课堂练习过程中,只要不影响交流,注意力应放在流利程度上,而不是准确程度上。在课外努力给学生创造英语学习的语言环境,譬如,组织英语角,定期举办英语演讲和朗读比赛,每学期给学生布置英语原著阅读任务并写英语阅读报告,等等;在有限的教学时间和空间内,充分利用现代信息教育技术和网络资源,让学生体验英语的魅力和学习英语的快乐。
(三)培养学生的文化意识和全球意识
学习一门语言包含学习其内在的文化。因而英语不能仅仅作为一种单纯的语言来学。英语只是一种学习的工具,而不是学习的目的。在新课改下学习英语语言本身的同时,我们应该有意识地让学生多了解英语国家的文化习俗。了解主要英语国家的政治经济、历史地理、生活方式、风俗习惯、价值观等,并与我国的情况做适当的比较,既加深他们对本民族文化的理解,又可以拓展他们的文化视野,发展他们跨文化交际的意识和能力以及全球意识。
(四)培养学生的自主学习意识
新课改提倡学生的自主学习意识。在新课改下,学生是学习的主体。学生的主动性是教学成败的关键。因此,在教学中,我每布置一项教学任务,都会给学生一定的自由度和空间,让他们自己发挥自己的主观能动性,使用英语这个工具,通过交流、合作完成该项任务。同时,引导他们充分利用图书馆和网络,扩大他们的阅读量,增强他们搜集信息和整理信息的能力。让他们真正使用英语这个语言工具来获取信息,处理信息,使用信息解决实际问题。
总之,新课程改革给我们教师带来了严峻的挑战和不可多得的机遇,在新课改下,我们要不断更新教育观念,加强自身修养,充实完善自我,培养学生的创新意识和创造能力,为学生的终身发展奠定基础。

现阶段,课程改革正在如火如荼的进行中,我省在下一学年要全面推行要进行新课程改革。新课程标准不仅对教学理念,教学方法和课程设计思路等方面提出了新的要求,而且对新的教学手段的需求也极为迫切。
而英语和电脑又是新时期知识型人才不可获缺的两大基本素质,被喻为是打开新世纪大门的两块敲门砖。因此将两者结合,将多媒体技术恰当,灵活的运用于英语课程的教学之中就刚好顺应了时代的发展和新课程标准的要求。
多媒体教学为我们提供了克服传统教育弊端的全新的教学方式,使抽象的,枯燥的学习内容转化为形象的,有趣的,可视的,可听的动感内容,成为英语教学的发展趋势。这样不但激发了学生的兴趣,而且在讲解一些比较抽象的课文时,还可以为学生提供直观的场景,便于学生理解和记忆。(音乐单元)
多媒体课件的在高三复习课的使用最能体现这一作用。在知识的归纳总结上,多媒体课件有着其特有的优势。多媒体课件可以帮助学生梳理知识脉络;划分知识结构;总结知识要点。(定语从句,树状图)
多媒体课件可以通过动画,电影,音乐等多媒体手段使原本枯燥的课堂教学变的生动有趣,可以帮助学生找到学习和他们切实生活的结合点,使学生在生动,轻松的环境中,感受到:英语不是老师交会的,而是自己练会的。(电影单元)
在很多情况下,课本的知识是很空洞的,象没有血肉的躯体。旧的教学方法是让教师发挥自己的课堂主导性,利用教师自己对教材的理解和把握,尽量的充实课本知识。但在多媒体课件的帮助下,课本的知识就变成了有血有肉的灵魂,使学生在掌握了基本的知识的基础上,能体会课文深层的含义。这也正呼应了新课标关于关注学生情感,提高人文素养的要求。(在情感方面的充实--关于关注和关心爱滋病病人等)
过于关注课件,忘了课件知识辅助教学的工具,忽略了教材的中心地位。可能使课堂热热闹闹,学生开开心心,但当课程结束后,在脑海中省下的是一无所有。
要使用课件说明问题和讲清道理,但要给学生留出想象的空间,让学生自己悟出其中的道理。(反例:课件只是介绍只是点的工具,直接给出例句)
课件展示过快。应该对没张课件进行解释和补充,充分利用每张课件的外表和内在的知识,对学生进行知识,能力和情感的教育。切记:仅仅成为图片的展示台。(污染单元:在展示环境污染现状的时候让学生充分联想自己的日常生活,对其进行教育)
造成原因和以上几条有关:过多的关注课件;课件内容的教育挖掘不够充分;教室布局不合理等原因造成的。
在制作课件之前首先要研读教材,并且要设计教学思路和教学过程。
选材要符合学生的年龄特点和知识特点。
最好将所需的教材列成清单,然后逐个去寻找。材料的主要来源是互联网。就同一内容要多选择一些资料以便制作时可以进行充分的挑选。首先,选材时要注意材料的针对性。要充分体现课程所需要的内容,紧扣教材,教案,切记偏题,离题。其次,要注意选材的时代性。要选择有时代特色的材料,这样更有利于吸引学生的注意力,给有效的达到教学目标(十面埋伏)。最后,注意选材的合理性。要符合学生的年龄特点和心理特点。
巧妙运用多媒体技术,运用声,光,电,色的结合使呈现部分达到最佳效果。
力求课件灵活多变,流畅自然,雅而不俗,赏心悦目。课件的整体效果不仅取决于教学思路,还取决于课件制作的手法和技巧。
正确把握多媒体课件在课堂中的运用,切忌华而不实,反客为主。多媒体技术一大优势就是可以模拟现实环境,利用视觉,听觉和触觉等多种形式对学生进行感官的综合刺激。但有些老师在设计课件时片面的利用这仪优势,过分注重视频技术和音频技术,过于重视动画,色彩,声音的效果,结果是喧宾夺主,冲淡主题,分散了学生的注意力。还有的老师在上课是过分的注意了课件的使用,而忽略了师生的双边交流,结果是课堂教学活动趋向于程序化模式,教师成了“放映工”。
顾全大局,填充局部,注意衔接。
8.多样性 变化但要注意“度”

人教版PEP小学英语教材的编写思路是以话题为纲,以交际功能为主线,兼顾语言结构,逐步引导学生运用英语完成有实际目的的语言任务,即:话题——功能——结构——任务。师生对教材中相关的话题都已熟知并能灵活运用。毕业班总复习用话题帮助学生梳理基础知识具有扎实的实践基础。本节课整合复习的话题是家务劳动。本人把教案设计如下:
一、教学目标:
1、能够介绍自己会做哪些家务劳动,如:I can clean the bedroom. I can cook the meals.
2、能够询问别人会做什么家务劳动,如:What can you do? I can…Can you set the table? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
3、掌握有关家务劳动的短语: sweep the floor, cook the meals, clean the room, water the flowers, empty the trash, wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed, do the dishes, put away the clothes.
4、掌握情态动词can的用法。
5、养成讲究卫生、热爱劳动的好习惯,培养乐于助人的优秀品质。
(1)句型What can you do? I can… Can you…? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
(2)有关家务劳动的'短语: sweep the floor, cook the meals, clean the room, water the flowers, empty the trash, wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed, do the dishes, put away the clothes.
2、教学难点:
(1)在实际情景中运用以上句型。
(2)情态动词can的用法。

1、注音标(Phonetics),标重音(Stress)。
每单元的英语课文都有不少生词、一词多音和容易读错的英语单词,某些英语单词作名词和动词的发音不同,如'record(n.)和re'cord(vt.)。将英语音标和重音记在被注的单词上边,并要求学生在朗读课文时重视所注的音标和重读音节。这样,一旦课文读熟,那些单词的正确读音也就熟记在心了。
2、释义(Paraphrase)。
英语中有不少生词、多义词、短语、习惯语和难句需要用简单的英语或汉语来解释。如:quarrel争吵(to argue or disagree angrily with someone);forture财富(great wealth)。在课文学习过程中,注释的重点是一些较难的名词、短语和重点句型,而不必每个句子都解释。注释文字书写位置的原则是“就近”,即尽可能记在被解释的单词旁边,以便在阅读课文时被注视。若解释的英文单词较多,原文旁边写不下或记下去因单词太多书写太密而不清晰时,可记在相对较近的空白处,注释文字与被注文字之间可划一直线连接。也可记录在词汇表中该单词的后面。
3、划重点(Language Points)。
我指导学生用五角星标出新句型、用三角形标出旧句型、用圆圈标出介词或冠词、用方框标出新的短语和词组、用直线或水浪曲线划出英语课文中的关键句,科普文、议论文中表明作者中心论点的句子。语法和练习中的一些重点、难点也该划出来,以便引起重视。
4、提要(Guideline)。
即用简洁的英文概括提示课文或段落、或句子的要点。这一工作常常与上述几项结合起来进行,先在原文上作上线条、小圆圈之类的标记,再在旁边空白处写上要提示的文字。例如,现在使用的高中英语教材每一单元阅读课文的正文前面都有“预习提示”(包括课文的重点生词和要讨论的问题),课文的后面常要求学生作简要笔记Note Making ;这是教材编辑为方便学生预习而编写的内容。我要求学生在自学课文时,先从这些“预习提示”入手,以便把握预习的重点。然后再根据“提示”去预习正文。如高二(下)第十四单元Satellite(卫星)是一篇科普文章,学生可以根据“预习提示”和Note Making把课文分为四个段落,我指导学生在各段落旁分别写上Broadcasting satellite(广播卫星),Weather Satellite(气象卫星),Communication Satellite(通讯卫星),Space Satellite(太空卫星)。这样,“预习提示”所述的课文要点就概括、凸现出来了,课文的段落大意和中心思想也一清二楚了。
5、标疑(Question)。
英语不是我们的母语,因此,在英语学习过程中,我们常常会碰到许多问题。阅读过程中可以在有问题的地方打一个问号,再寻找机会向老师或同学求教或查阅有关参考书解疑。
6、分析难点(Comprehension)。
学生阅读英语课文,不断会遇到一些难点,经过老师的讲解,或与同学一起讨论有些可能当场已经完全理解,有的还似懂非懂。不管怎样,边听边记下析难的文字,既有利于课后消化,也有利于复习回顾。
7、补缺(Replenishment)。
英语词汇表和一些参考书中对某些单词和词组的解释不够全面,有些只讲了名词的意思,而未说明作动词、形容词等的意义。老师应该让学生自己查词典或告诉他们别的用法,并让他们记录下来。比如学习了名词success(成功),应该让他们记下形容词successful、副词successfully和动词succeed。
8、纠错(Correct Mistakes)。
中学英语教材的编写,包括选文以及课文的注释和练习的编写等,是经过众多高水平的国内外专家和编辑反复斟酌和把关的,与一些课外阅读材料相比,质量当然高得多,但难免有个别的不妥之处。如原Senior English for China Book IA的练习中出现了spend…on doing sth,而所有的语法书和词典上都用spend…in doing sth。又如:It is no good to do it. 应改成It is no good doing it.我在讲课时,把这些情况告诉学生,并要求学生自己查有关工具书证实,并将这些错误改正过来。果然,教材再版时把这两个错误都纠正过来了。

由连接词and或both…and连接起来的主语后面,要用复数形式的谓语动词。但若所连接的两个词是指同一个人或物
时,它后面的谓语就用单数形式。由and 连接的并列单数主语前如果分别有no, each, every 或more than a (an)/one,many a (an) 修饰时,其谓语动词要用单数形式。either, neither, each, every 或no+单数名词和由some, any no, every构成的复合不定代词,都作单数看待。.

由a lot of /lots of/ plenty of/ a heap of/ heaps of/ the rest of/the majority of+名词构成的短语以及由分数或百分数+名词构成的短语作主语时,其谓语动词的数要根据短语中后面名词的数而定。

此外,还有a number of +复数名词有类似的用法(用复数),但the number of +复数名词的数就得依number 而定(用单数)。

表示时间重量长度价值等的名词的复数作主语时,谓语动词通常用单数形式,这是由于作主语的名词在概念上是一个整体。

如强调这类词的复数意义,则谓语动词要用复数形式

若英语是书名名格言剧名报名国名等的复数形式,其谓语动词通常用单数形式。

表数量的短语“one and a half”后面接复数名词作主语时,其谓语动词要用单数形式。
One and a half apples is left on the table.
一些学科名词是以-ics结尾,如:mathematics, politics, physics 以及news, works 等。都属于形式上是复数的名词,实际意义为单数名词,
它们作主语时,其谓语动词要用单数形式。
The paper works was built in 1990.这家造纸厂建于1990年。

trousers, glasses, clothes, shoes, scissors (剪刀)等词作主语时,谓语用复数,但如果这些名词前有a(the) pair of 等量词修饰时(clothes被a suit of 修饰)谓语动词用单数。

“定冠词the+形容词或分词”,表示某一类人动词用复数;若表示某一类东西时,动词用单数。

there be 句型中be 动词的单复数取决于其后的主语。如果其后是由and 连接的两个主语,则应与靠近的那个主语保持一致,即就近一致。

主语后面跟有with, together with, except, but, like, as well as, no less than, rather than, more than, besides, along with, including, in addition to 等引起的短语,谓语动词要跟主语一致,即就远一致。

So why has English changed over time? My name is Wang Kun.Ever since middle school, my sister Wang Wei and I have dreamed
about taking a great bike trip.Two years ago she bought an expensive mountain bike and then she persuaded me to buy one.Last year, she visited our cousins, Dao Wei and Yu Hang at their college in Kunming.They are Dai and grew up in western Yunnan Province near the Lancang River, the Chinese part of the river that is called the Mekong River in other Wei soon got them interested in cycling too.After graduating from college.we finally got the chance to take a bike trip.I asked my sister, “Where are we going?” It was my sister who first had the idea to cycle along the entire Mekong River from where it begins to where it ends.Now she is planning our schedule for the trip.I am fond of my sister but she has one serious shortcoming.She can be really stubborn.Although she didn't know the best way of getting to places, she insisted that she organize the trip properly.Now, I know that the proper way is always her way.I kept asking her, “When are we leaving and when are we coming back?” I asked her whether she had looked at a map yet.Of course, she hadn't;my sister doesn't care about details.So I told her that the source of the Mekong is in Qinghai Province.She gave me a determined look—the kind that said she would not change her mind.When I told her that our journey would begin at an altitude of more than 5,000 metres, she seemed to be excited about it.When I told her the air would be hard to breathe and it would be very cold, she said it would be an interesting experience.I know my sister well.Once she has made up her mind, nothing can change it.Finally, I had to give in.Several months before our trip,Wang Wei and I went to the library.We found a large atlas with good maps that showed details of world geography.From the atlas we could see that the Mekong River begins in a glacier on a Tibetan mountain.At first the river is small and the water is clear and cold.Then it begins to move quickly.It becomes rapids as it passes through deep valleys, travelling across western Yunnan Province.Sometimes the river becomes a waterfall and enters wide valleys.We were both surprised to learn that half of the river is in China.After it leaves China and the high altitude,the Mekong becomes wide,brown and warm.As it enters Southeast Asia, its pace slows.It makes wide bends or meanders through low valleys to the plains where rice grows.At last, the river delta enters the South China Sea.沿湄公河而下的旅行

Although it was autumn, the snow was already beginning to fall in Tibet.Our legs were so heavy and cold that they felt like blocks of ice.Have you ever seen snowmen ride bicycles? That's what we looked like!Along the way children dressed in long wool coats stopped to look at us.In the late afternoon we found it was so cold that our water bottles froze.However,the lakes shone like glass in the setting sun and looked Wei rode in front of me as usual.She is very reliable and I knew I did't need to encourage her.To climb the mountains was hard work but as we looked around us,we were surprised by the view.We seemed to be able to see for miles.At one point we were so high that we found ourselves cycling through clouds.Then we began going down the hills.It was great fun especially as it gradually became much warmer.In the valleys colourful butterflies flew around us and we saw many yaks and sheep eating green grass.At this point we had to change our caps,coats,gloves and trousers for T-shirts and shorts.In the early evening we always stop to make camp.We put up our tent and then we eat.After supper Wang Wei put her head down on her pillow and went to sleep but I stayed awake.At midnight the sky became clearer and the stars grew brighter.It was so quiet.There was almost no wind-only the flames of our fire for company.As I lay beneath the stars I thought about how far we had already travelled.We will reach Dali in Yunnan Province soon,where our cousins Dao Wei and Yu Hang will join us.We can hardly wait to see them!

A NIGHT THE EARTH DIDN'T SLEEP
Strange things were happening in the countryside of northeast Hebei.For three days the water in the village wells rose and fell,rose and fell.Farmers noticed that the well walls had deep cracks in them.A smelly gas came out of the cracks.In the farmyards,the chickens and even the pigs were too nervois to eat.Mice ran out of the fields looking for places to hide.Fish jumped out of their bowls and ponds.At about 3:00 am on july 28,1976,some people saw bright lights in the sky.The sound of planes could be heard outside the city of Tangshan even when no planes were in the sky.In the city,the water pipes in some buildings cracked and burst.but the one million people of the city,who thiught little of these events,were asleep as usual that night.At 3:42 am everything began to shake.It seemed as if the world was at an end!Eleven kilometres directly below the city the greatest earthquake of the 20th century had begun.It was felt in Beijing,which is more than two hundred kilometres away.One-third of the nation felt it.A huge crack that was eight kilometres long and thirty metres wide cut across houses,roads and canals.Steam burst from holes in the ground.Hard hills of rock became rivers of dir.In fifteen terrible seconds a large city lay in ruins.The suffering of the people was extreme.Two-thirds of them died or were left without parents.The number of people who were killed or injured reached more than 400,000.But how could the survivors believe it was natural?Everywhere they looked nearly everything was destroyed.All of the city's hospitals,75%of its factories and buildings and 90% of its homes were gone.Bricks covered the ground like red autumn leaves.No wind,however,could blow them away.Two dams fell and most of the bridges also fell or were not safe for travelling.The railway tracks were now useless pieces of steel.Tens of thousands of cows would never give milk again.Half a million oigs and millions of chickens were dead.Sand now filled the wells instead of water.People were shocked.Then,later that afternoon,another big quake which was almost as strong as the first one shook Tangshan.Some of the rescue workers and doctors were trapped under the ruins.More buildings fell down.Water,food,and electricity were hard to get.people begab to wonder how long the disaster would last.All hope was not lost.Soon after the quakes,the army sent 150,000 soldiers to Tangshan to help the rescue workers.Hundreds of thousands of people were helped.The army organized teams to dig out those who were trapped and to bury the dead.To the north of the city,most of the 10,000 miners were rescued from the coal mines ers built shelters for survivors whose homes had been destroyed.Fresh water was taken to the city bu train,truck and plane.Slowly,the city began to breathe again.Office of the City Government

My name is Elias.I am a poor black worker in South Africa.The time when I first met Nelson Mandela was a very difficult period of my life.I was twelve years old.It was in 1952 and Mandela was the black lawyer to whom I went for advice.He offered guidance to poor black people on their legal problems.He was generous with his time, for which I was grateful.I needed his help because I had very little education.I began school at six.The school where I studied for only two years was three kilometers away.I had to leave because my family could not continue to pay the school fees and the bus fare.I could not read or write well.After trying hard, I got a job in a gold mine.However, this was a time when one had got to have a passbook to live in Johannesburg.Sadly I did not have it because I was not born there, and I worried about whether I would become out of work.The day when Nelson Mandela helped me was one of my happiest.He told my how to get the correct papers so I could stay in Johannesburg.I became more hopeful about my future.I never forgot how kind Mandela was.When he organized the ANC Youth League, I joined it as soon as I could.He said:
“The last thirty years have seen the greatest number of laws stopping our rights and progress,until today we have reached a stage where we have almost no rights at all.”
It was the truth.Black people could not vote or choose their leaders.They could not get the jobs they wanted.The parts of town in which they had to live were decided by white people.The places outside the towns where they were sent to live were the poorest parts of South Africa.No one could grow food there.In fact as Nelson Mandela said:
“„we were put into a position in which we had either to accept we were less important or fight the government.We chose to attack the laws.We first broke the law in a way which was peaceful;when this was not allowed…only then did we decide to answer violence with violence.As a matter of fact, I do not like violence…but in 1963 I helped him blow up some government buildings.It was very dangerous because if I was caught I could be put in prison.But I was happy to help because I knew it would help us achieve our dream of making black and white people equal.THE REST OF ELIAS' STORY
You cannot imagine how the name of Robben Island made us afraid.It was a prison from which no one escaped.There I spent the hardest time of my life.But when I got there Nelsom Mandela was also there and he helped me.Mr Mandela began a school for those of us who had little learning.He taught us during the lunch breaks and the evenings when we should have been asleep.We read books under our blankets and used anything we could find to make candles to see the words.I became a good student.I wanted to study for my degree but I was not allowed to do that.Later, Mr Mandela allowed the prison guards to join us.He said they should not be stopped from studying for their degrees.They were not cleverer than me , but they did pass their exams.So I knwe I could get a degree too.That made me feel good about myself.When I finished the four years in prison, I went to find a job.Since I was better educated, I got a job working in an office.However, the police found out and told my boss that I had been in prinson for blowing up government buildings.So I lost my job.I did not work again for twenty years until M r Mandela and the ANC came to power in 1994.All that time my wife and children had to beg for good and help from relatives or friends.Luckily Mr Mandela remembered me and gave me a job taking tourists around my old prison on Robben Islannd.I felt bad the first time I talked to a group.All the terror and fear of that time came back to me.I remembered the beatings and the cruelty of the guards and my friends who had died.I felt I would not be able to do it, but my family encouraged me.They said that the job and the pay from the new South African government were my reward after working all my life for equal rights for the Blacks.So now at 51 I am proud to show visitors over the prison, for I helped to make our people free in their own land.

men of this kind和these kind of men的谓语动词用复数,all kinds of后跟复数名词,谓语动词用复数形式。
如:
This kind of men is dangerous.
这一种人很危险。
Men of this kind are dangerous.这种类型的人很危险。
10复数形式的单、复数同形名词作主语时,按意义一致原则,用作单数意义时,谓语用单数。
反之,谓语用复数。这类名词有means(方法),works(工厂),species(种类),Chinese,Japanese等。
如:
The (This) glass works was set up in 1980. 这家玻璃厂建于1980年。
The(These)glass works are near the railway station.这些玻璃厂在火车站附近。
当它们前面有a,such a ,this,that修饰时,谓语用单数;有all,such,these,those修饰时,谓语用复数;但means,no means,the means等词前没有以上修饰词时,可用作单数,也可用作复数。

计算机辅助教学,在我校已有些年头了,学校为大家配置了多媒体教室,利用电脑这一现代化的智能工具把多媒体教学引入课堂是教学发展的趋势和必然。多媒体教学为我们提供了克服传统教学弊端的全新的教学方式,由于有了生动的图片、动画和视频,使得这堂课不但容量大,而且生动、有趣,弥补了传统听说课只有“听”一种媒体途径的不足,大大地调动了学生的学习积极性。故多媒体教学越来越受到我校广大教师的青睐。
至于课件,由于教学任务的繁重,多数老师奉行的是“拿来主义”----快捷、方便,也不失为一好方法。但我认为,在选择课件时必须慎重。目前我所看到的许多课件,有一部分根本没有使用的价值,有的可以说是有失误甚至是有严重失误的课件。因此,在选择运用课件之前,把握以下几个要点是有必要的。
在选择多媒体课件时,必须分析和确定课题实施所能达到的目标是否符合教学目标的要求。无论是传统的教学方式,还是电化教学方式,每堂课必须要有教学目标。确定了教学目标,教学活动才能有的放矢。不能把英语课上成一堂“图片展示课”或“音乐欣赏课”,毫无交际性和交互性可言。另外,课件的选择和利用要围绕教学重点和难点而定。要注意抓主流,弃旁支,简单明了。不能为吸引学生注意力,寻求感官刺激,而讲究多多益善。
这就需要教师充分挖掘教材内容,仔细体味编者意图,广泛搜集相关素材,精心选择、策划利用课件。
教学需要多媒体,但用了多媒体未必就有利于提高教学效益。运用多媒体技术是为了搞好教学,但教学不是为了运用多媒体。是否使用计算机多媒体,应取决于英语课堂教学的需要。
一些常规教学难以做到的如动画视频、人机交互答题等或课程内容比较抽象、难以理解、教师用语言不易描述、需要练习者反复练习等,在条件允许的情况下都有必要实施计算机辅助教学。比如高一新教材的Unit 11 The Sound Of The World中的Reading部分, 根据教学内容--介绍Blues Music, Hip-hop and Rap以及 Latin Music的特点,可以发挥多媒体的特长,集图、文、声、像的综合功能,让学生在课堂有限的时间里充分体验到各种音乐的风格,提高了学生的学习积极性和创造性,加深了对课文的理解,增强了音乐欣赏的水平。然后积极回答问题,阐述自己的观点(人机交互)。这样一来,传统听说课只有唯一一个“听”的媒体途径的不足得到了弥补,学生视、听、说能力得到了煅练。
但有些教师为了体现教学手段的现代化,在一堂课中尽可能多地使用计算机多媒体。甚至误认为,多媒体用得越多,学生参与率就越高,所传授的语言材料越易于让学生掌握,效率就越高。从表面上看,学生的兴趣很浓,但实际上变成了老师搞“杂耍”,学生看热闹。事实上,学生在这样的课堂上的无意注意过多,教学信息在传递过程中的干扰过大,学生对语言素材的获取量相当有限,导致学生在有限的课堂上缺少语言训练的时机,即使有所训练,也很不足。
教师必须根据学生培养方向、学生现有水平、学生的学习需要进行课件的选用、编排和取舍。课件的采用必须注重“以人为本”,发挥学生的主体性。当今世界知识更新速度很快,学生学习的性质应当由传授性、继承性转变为探索性、创造性。研究性学习已经成为世界教育改革和发展的趋势,创新精神和实践能力的培养成为了整个教育改革的灵魂。在灵活多变的英语教学课堂上,程序化的电脑语言并不能创造出良好的学习环境,更难以培养学生的创新精神。
目前英语学科很多用Authorware或Flash制作的课件,往往侧重于有声动画的制作,它们集动画和声音于一体,把教材中的素材通过动画片的形式展示给学生,生动形象地呈现教材中的语言材料,增强了学生的视觉、听觉等感官效果,学生的视听效果得到了强化,同时也一定程度上帮助了学生对文章或对话内容理解。然而,不容我们忽视的是:用多媒体展示这些语篇或对话材料,只是把文中情景和有声语言展示给学生,它无法取代学生在教师创设的情景中用英语进行的交际操练,更无法取代学生的思维训练。所以,我们在选择和使用课件时,应当以促进学生动脑动口、积极参与为着眼点;切不可为了追求在课堂上多一点现代化教学的气息,而不加选择地使用多媒体课件。
并非所有“拿来主义”都符合我们的口味,我们更多的时候是自己动手制作多媒体课件。平时我们应有意识地积累一些教学素材,比如图片,音频和视频等。设计制作多媒体英语课件要遵循这一规节:目标明确、简单实用。长时间、大容量课件的实际教学效果并不理想。因为学生在长时间观看的过程中容易产生视觉疲劳和心理疲劳,使得学生的注意力难以保持,甚至产生厌倦心理。因此,在满足教学需要的前提下,课件制作宜小、精、短、简。
制作前:
1、确定授课时间:3月4日, 确定授课内容:写一份书面通知。
2、内容:
假定你是李明,是你校学生会体育部长,你们学校将举行一次万米长跑运动,请根据下面海报的内容用英语写一份书面通知,鼓励同学踊跃报名参加比赛或为选手加油。
注意事项:
1.短文应包括图表中所提供的信息,并做适当发挥,使短文内容连贯、完整;
2.词数130左右。
课件制作:
启动PowerPoint 程序(注意:为了方便,宜选用空白内容版式,并应用所有幻灯版式),插入水平文本框,在文本框中键入以下内容:假定你是李明,是你校学生会体育部长,你们学校将举行一次万米长跑运动,请根据下面海报的内容用英语写一份书面通知,鼓励同学踊跃报名参加比赛或为选手加油。
将上述海报图插入或复制到幻灯片上,调整其大小。然后在图的左边或下方另一个水平文本框,并将 “注意事项 ”键入这文本框中。
接下来设制 “幻灯片背景” 及文本框中的文字“字体”及“字号”。
文字与背景应反差大,以学生看得清为准。一般我将背景设为黑色,文字为黄色,字体为宋体或华文细黑(加粗),字号为24(模拟黑板环境,下同)。然后自定义文本框和图象的动画效果和出场次序。
第一张幻灯片基本做好。
第二张幻灯片设三个文本框,分别为 写作提示;提示内容---1. 本文是书面通知,要注意书面通知的格式。2. 长跑的路线要表达清楚,但不要一个句式到底;长跑路线--学校/人民街-交通信号灯/向右转/北山路-邮局/向右转-小河/向右转-学校。
第三张幻灯片为 写作要点,下设八个文本框,分别为: 1. 学校将举行一次万米长跑运动以推动全民健身运动;2. 每班十人报名,欢迎老师参加。鼓励同学踊跃报名参加比赛或为选手加油;3. 比赛时间:3月15日下午2点(风雨无阻),1:30前在操场集合;4. 路线: 学校/人民街-交通信号灯/向右转/北山路-邮局/向右转-小河/向右转-学校,以及各要点的英文翻译(当然是点一下鼠标或键盘出一个要点,再点一下鼠标或键盘出
该要点的英文翻译,依次类推)。
第四张幻灯片为将各要点译文组合而成的参考英文文章。内容为:
As is planned beforehand, there is going to be a 10, 000-meter race on March 15, 2005, whether it rains or shines, according to the arrangement of the school. The race will start at 2:00 and we’ll run along the People’s Street to the traffic lights and then turn right. 总而言之,在英语课堂教学中,如果我们能合理适时地使用计算机多媒体教学系统,创设学习英语的情境,解决英语教学的视听等有关教学问题,使学生通过视听感知英语语言素材,发展视听能力;同时充分发挥教师的主导作用,发挥学生的主体性和创造性,从而引导学生进行量多而质优的听、说、读、写综合训练,使学生在有限的课堂上获得英语基础知识的同时,语言基本技能得到训练,直接用英语思考和表达的能力得到培养,并为实现用英语进行交际打下坚实的基础。这样,我们就达到了引进现代化教学手段----计算机多媒体辅助教学系统到英语课堂教学中来的真正目的。

提示课件主要用于编制课文对话、复述课文主旨大意。课件内容主要是对话和课文中的关键词语,以文字呈现为主,配以颜色和音乐。制作这类课件的原因是,要么对话中生僻词语较多,学生记忆较困难,要么课文较难较长,学生复述困难。有了课件提示,能激活学生的思维,化难为易,提高学生的学习兴趣,加速课堂教学进程。制作这类课件,要注意提示的关键词不宜过多或过少。太多,不能充分激发学生思维;太少,不能引起学生联想。这种课件提示的媒介亦可用图片。

语序为v.+主语+谓语+由if、whether引导宾语从句;
连接宾语从句的从属连词主要有that,if,whether,和疑问词(what, how, where, when ...)。
that引导表示陈述句的宾语从句,
if和whether,whether...or not引导表示“是否”的一般疑问句的宾语从句。
连接代词主要有who,whom,whose,what,whoever,whomever,whosever,whatever,whichever等。
连接代词一般指疑问,但what,whatever除了指疑问外,也可以指陈述。
连接副词主要有when,where,why,how,whenever,wherever,however等。
例句:
He didn’t tell me when we should meet again.
他没有告诉我什么时候我们能再见面。
大多数及物动词都可以带宾语从句。
部分“动词+副词”结构也可以带宾语从句。
动词短语也可以带宾语从句,常见的这些词有:
make sure(确保)、make up one’s mind(下决心)、keep in mind(牢记)
①动词find,feel,consider,make,believe,think等后面有宾语补足语的时候,则需要用it做形式宾语而将that宾语从句后置。
②有些动词带宾语从句时需要在宾语从句前加it(双宾语)这类动词主要有:hate,take,owe,have,see to.award,lend.hand,mail,offer,pass,pay,post,read,return,show,teach,tell
用whether之类的介词宾语从句。
用that,if引导的介词宾语从句,有时候except,but,besides三个介词后可见到that引导的宾语从句。
有些形容词具有动词的含义,所以也可以带一个宾语从句;
例句:
I am sorry I am late.
I am glad that you can join us.
Are you sure his answer is right?
常用来引导宾语从句的形容词有:sure,certain,glad,pleased,happy,sorry,afraid,satisfied,surprised
if和whether在作“是否”理解时,引导宾语从句常放在动词know,ask,care,wonder,find out等之后,介词后一般不用if。
少数动词,如:leave,put,discuss,doubt后的宾语从句常用whether。
whether后可以加or not,但是if不可以。
在不定式前只能用whether。
一般“no matter”后表示“是否”用whether而不用if。
存在以下情况时引导词that不可省略:
that作learn,suggest,explain,agree,wonder,prove,mean,state,feel,hold等动词的宾语。
